The Edgewood College Fall Instructional Baseball League (ECFIBL) was established in 2011 to provide Wisconsin high school baseball players the opportunity to develop their skills and continue to learn about the game of baseball in the fall off-season. The ECIFBL is a wood-bat only league open to any incoming Sophomore, Junior or Senior in high school. For 2012, players graduating in 2013, 2014 and 2015 will be eligible for the ECFIBL.
Teams will play two 7-inning games for 6 consecutive Sundays. The first five weeks will be "league play", and the final week will be the ECFIBL Tournament.
All ECFIBL events, including the instructional day, league play, and post-season play, will be held at the Waunakee High School baseball complex in Waunakee, WI (See "Fields" page for directions). All ECFIBL games will have an official plate and base umpire. Players will receive a jersey top, and are encouraged to wear their high school/club team caps.
